Greg Pōmaikaʻi Gushiken (Kanaka Maoli) is a PhD candidate in Ethnic Studies with a graduate specialization in Critical Gender Studies at the University of California, San Diego. He is currently writing a trans-Indigenous history of settler infrastructure and environmental justice between Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, and Las Vegas, Nevada. He earned an MA in Ethnic Studies from the University of California, San Diego, and a BA in Political Science and English from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.
